Don’t like the system? Change it!

Why can’t we have a better system? Spoiler alert! You don’t have to read this article at all… We could if you we! did something. We can’t if you we don’t!

Almost everybody that I speak to these days has some sort of a disconnect to the government. It isn’t necessarily which government that’s the problem it’s the whole process which is the problem to them. Even avid supporters of whichever government is in power know there’s something fundamentally missing in the way the whole thing operates: The People are are not a part of it.

It has been known for some time that there is actually an alternative to the current system and it works way better than what we have for all of us. Odds are you haven’t heard of it, because it’s not mentioned in polite circles. Its no good tweaking the current dystopian regime around a bit, because unless the key crux of the principle of how parliament operates changes, then nothing will actually change.

The Government needs to go from controlling all the people and all the people’s money through all their various methods… past listening to the people by law (that’s the next step)… and get to its final destination…. actually BEING the people. Some might say not even that is the final step, but lets save that debate for now…. Yes the solution is that the people become the government.

Direct Democracy isn’t just a political party it is a whole new way of thinking about how we should run this country. Its not pie in the sky. The world’s most economically successful nation uses it and it yields huge benefits for individuals and the nation and has done for centuries.

Direct Democracy gets results for individuals and for the whole country. It basically does that by returning sovereignty to individuals and to the country at large. So why don’t we have Direct Democracy in this country?

When we first started out talking about our version of Direct Democracy in 2020 New Zealanders were crying out for a completely different system of government and that cry has not stopped since then. We still haven’t even seen a public discussion about Direct Democracy let alone the opportunity to have it! So we still have the same old same old!

There are two key reasons why we don’t have Direct Democracy in New Zealand. The first and primary one is because parliament and the government will simply not entertain the idea of it because none of it fulfills their agendas or satisfies their quest for power and control. Over the many decades they have convinced us we need their controlling. (Truth tells us we don’t- look at Switzerland!) And in the law of the money jungle where 6 people use our money to tell us all what will happen with whatever they don’t waste, what they want translates to what media do and so unless people go seeking information about it they will not find alternatives. We have not been indoctrinated to even know about Direct Democracy.

The second key reason is you us! Most love the idea but don’t believe it’s likely to happen. You We need to demand it!. If you we carry on like you we have, and cross your fingers and hope for things to improve, they quite simply will not. That’s because if you we don’t speak, authorities will, on your behalf. Yes, without asking you us if they can or not!

Now listen up New Zealand. The case for Direct Democracy has never been stronger than it is right now and the only thing that stands between the idea of it happening and it actually happening will soon only be you us.

Why is it strong right now?

Right now the case for Direct Democracy has never been stronger because the forces against democracy have also never been stronger globally. Additionally, it’s only been in the last decade that the technology to do this has even begun to exist. It’s only now, through massive effort and technological advances, that new generations are starting to see the truth of how the world is actually structured politically and economically. Some of those in previous generations knew it too, but those who did were encouraged to use the system to their advantage, and they were handsomely rewarded and thus the critics were silenced. Unfortunately that approach has only served to enrich those at the top of the pyramid and even further weaken those at the bottom as those in the system use it only for themselves.

if we don’t seize this opportunity to do something about democracy now then we might find it could be more decades under authoritarian control before we actually get the chance to implement it so we must choose democracy now.

The world is at a turning point. It’s preparing to shed the skin of authoritarian dominance. Authorities are getting the idea that people have a better idea now and that their regime might be entering it’s twilight period because if power switches to the people, they are not needed. Which way will it go?

WHAT CAN I DO?!

Said We The 99.99999999% collectively.

New Zealanders typically are pretty laid back about things like this. She’ll be right. “We’ll get a good leader one day, they can do it all for me”.

No, they wont. They will do things alright, but if you don’t speak and vote, they will do it for you. Not because they want to represent you but because they want to control you.

We have no choice these days… we have to get involved. We should also want to… if we care for our country.

Direct Democracy is the method by which we get involved.

Direct Democracy doesn’t happen without you wanting it.

Direct Democracy doesn’t happen without you supporting it.

Join it! Members, a board and a committee and other groups await you.

Legalise it so that our votes are binding!

Fund it if you can! It needs to be run by the people not by business or authorities.

  1. Definitely interested but I certainly need a better understanding of it. e.g. if an airport needs to be built how would the okay and the payment be made available.

    1. At present under New Zealand law the public have no legal power to force anything on an authority. So in answer to your question, “The okay” still needs to come from an authority such as the council or government. All we can do until there’s a law change is show that authority the public view on an issue and have them be involved in the process and that they will understand and make the change based on what the public want.

  2. Is this what will happen after GESARA is announced anyway? Step 1. With the quantum voting system every voting human will have a secure vote, no more voter fraud. Step 2. We the people vote for the system we want. Step 3. Vote for the representatives of the people for the people.

  3. I am interested in becoming a part of this.
You could have spoken more about what is so great about Switzerland, given they host the annual WEF Conference at Davos. And Basle is the location for the BIL, Bank of International Settlements.

    1. Important to understand that we are talking about using a similar process to the Swiss System but what the people actually decide is for New Zealand alone. Switzerland has nothing to do with the actual decisions kiwis would make, we would just use their process. Both nations have their own sovereignty and do as the people from each nation want under the system.

What’s “great” about the Swiss system, is how the people have a very large degree of say about what goes on in that country and government involvement is relatively minimal because its managed significantly by the people.

    1. Yes, its easily the best large scale existing for democracy in the world. There’s tiny pockets developing but nothing as established as Switzerland.

  4. I know what it supposed to be and a few things about. I like to know more about your plans to get there. How your idea of direct democracy looks like? And more, how you intend to implement the idea?

    1. In basic terms it looks a like Switzerland in terms of how it would work, but done down to a neighbourhood level as well and quite a few other differences. I encourage you to join as a member thanks.

  5. Direct democracy is the ONLY system that gives power to the people and sovereignty! Voting once every 3 years is a joke and not having binding referendums and people’s initiatives an even bigger one!
We live in a dictatorship not a democracy and THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE !
