Interesting read on NZs proportional representation. I cant help but wonder, could a similar system work in larger countries with more diverse populations? I mean, wouldnt it risk diluting the representation of minority groups? Just a thought.
Interesting read on New Zealands journey towards proportional representation. But dont you think the cultural context played a huge role in their success? Not sure if the same model can be replicated in places with deep-seated bi-partisan systems. Just food for thought!
