Interview with Les is best listened to here, with the text
Les the Labourer gets interviewed about politics, democracy, power, the people in New Zealand
“Don’t trust politicians”
“All done behind closed doors”
“Things need to change”
“Nothing good about the way things are done”
“Not a lot of good happens”
“Those in control make all the decisions”
“It comes down to how they treat us as people”
“Democracy means its run by the people of the country”
“People should be involved 100% in what goes on”

Ive just read the Interview with Les the Labourer and Im intrigued. Do you guys think New Zealand is indeed run like Les describes? He paints a pretty idealistic picture, but I wonder if its truly representative. Granted, I love his down-to-earth perspective, but can we generalize from one mans viewpoint? Thoughts?
