  1. Interesting read, but isnt sovereignty something that inherently cant be bought or sold? Its a philosophical concept rooted in a nations independence, not a commodity on a market. Id argue that true sovereignty lies in the collective will of the people, not in financial transactions. Or am I missing something here?

  2. Just read that Sovereignty for Sale article and it left me scratching my head. Its like equating a countrys independence to a yard sale item. But isnt sovereignty more about peoples rights and cultural identity? How can that be sold? Isnt there a danger of reducing a nations pride to mere transactional value?
