While I agree that government overreach can be concerning, isnt it also important to consider the benefits of a collective approach to global health issues? Its not necessarily about control but about fostering collaboration in a multi-faceted problem. Would individual countries fare better handling pandemics alone? The question is, where do we draw the line between autonomy and collaborative governance?
