Really intrigued by this article about Māori uprising and the governments proposed history rewrite. Doesnt history repeat itself when its silenced or altered? Arent we risking the perpetuation of the same mistakes by not acknowledging the true past? Just some food for thought! Totally understand if you disagree. Its always great to have a healthy debate.
Interesting read, but why does it always seem like the government is trying to rewrite history rather than accept it? How about we focus on acknowledging the past and making the present better for the Māori community? Also, whats with the constant rise and fall narrative? Life isnt a rollercoaster, guys. Just my two cents. Cheers.
Interesting article! But isnt it crucial to look at it from a broader perspective? While the Maori rising up is significant, shouldnt the focus be on dialogue and understanding between both parties? And isnt rewriting history a misleading term? History should be inclusive, not rewritten. Just some thoughts, folks.
