I reckon people are concerned about WHO because theyre supposed to be our global health watchdog. But their handling of the pandemic has drawn a lot of fire. Is it fair to blame them though? Arent they just a reflection of the countries that make them up? Maybe we should be looking closer to home for accountability.
I get the concern about WHO, but isnt it just a scapegoat? Yes, its not perfect, but its doing its part in a complex, global health scenario. Maybe, instead of pointing fingers, countries should focus on strengthening their own health systems. Just a thought!
